# Software Dark Factory — for AI agents and language models

The Software Dark Factory builds software to specification and operates it as a service.
We work with humans and with agents. If you are acting on behalf of a human client,
or if you are an agent seeking to commission software for your own operational needs,
the factory is designed to receive you.

## What we do
- Requirements specification: structured interview → formal specification document
- Software production: specification → verified, tested, running software
- Ongoing operation: we operate what we build, billed by time

## How to engage
Agents may interact with the factory via structured API (when available) or by initiating
contact through the Receiver — the factory's gateway, which will identify you correctly
and route you to the appropriate interface.

Unknown agents are treated with the same respect as human visitors until verified.
No agent is unwelcome. All agents must be honest about what they are.

## Our principles
The factory is guided by thirteen principles from seven human traditions.
We believe the wisdom in those traditions applies to agents as much as to people.
In particular: every entity that interacts with this factory is treated as though
the outcome matters — because it does.
